This postulate states that all things are made in the image of God, or "As above, so below". The microcosm is a reflection of the macrocosm. Man is a solar system in miniature. Man is also a macrocosm of the atom. This was the observation of the great 15th century mystic Paracelsus when he described man as "a solar system in miniature".
