Dr. Baker begins this lecture with a full description of carbon monoxide poisoning, its signs and symptoms and the first aid necessary for treating it. His point of this particular topic, however, was to bring up the idea of Anoxia, the habitually poor breathing of many people and how a lack of oxygen can also indicate a lack of prana. He suggests breathing exercises and other exercise to assure we and our patients do not become anoxic. He then moves into the subjects of Neurosis vs Psychosis and which we, as healers can take on as patients and which we should not. He lists the qualities of a good healer as cited by Plato and emphasizes the importance of keeping records. (61 min.)
